MASA
Masa is an Architecture Studio based in Mexico City and Stockholm, dedicated to creating spaces that inspire, support, and build meaning. Their work is defined by a precise understanding of context, functionality, and the emotional impact of built environments. This dual perspective (shaped by two cultural environments) defines a design philosophy that is both human-centered and contextually grounded.
The visual identity reflects this ethos through a blend of Minimalist clarity and Utilitarian purpose. Clean geometry, functional logic, and a stripped-back aesthetic come together to form a visual language that feels contemporary, essential, and true to Masa’s design values.
At the center of the identity is a core symbol formed by three elements: an abstracted brick, evoking the foundational act of building, and two circles that represent Mexico and Sweden. As these shapes overlap, they create a point of convergence that embodies the cultural dialogue and creative bridge between both places. This intersection becomes a defining metaphor for Masa, an architectural practice shaped by connection, context, and purpose. The symbol functions both as an independent mark and as a container for the studio’s name, adapting seamlessly across applications.
